Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 June 2025

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Gloomhunt, including the website, game, accounts, free runs, leaderboards, bounty challenges, rewards, and related services.

By creating an account, playing a run, entering a bounty, or using Gloomhunt, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use Gloomhunt.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Gloomhunt, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make changes, we may update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Gloomhunt after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

Gloomhunt is a skill-based survival shooter. Players may play free runs, build stats, appear on leaderboards, and enter bounty challenges.

A bounty is a challenge with a listed reward, entry cost, win conditions, and rules. To receive a bounty reward, your run must satisfy the applicable win conditions and comply with the bounty rules.

Gloomhunt may update, change, suspend, or remove features, bounty challenges, leaderboards, rewards, entry costs, and rules at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to enter any bounty that involves entry credit, cash rewards, or any other reward with monetary value.

You may only use Gloomhunt if it is legal for you to do so in your location.

We may refuse, restrict, suspend, or close your account if we believe you are not eligible to use Gloomhunt, your use of Gloomhunt is unlawful, or your account creates legal, payment, security, or fraud risk.

4. Account Registration and Security

You may need an account to use some Gloomhunt features.

You agree to provide accurate and current account information. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must not create fake accounts, use another person’s account, sell accounts, share accounts, or allow another person to use your account.

We may require account, identity, age, location, or payment verification before allowing access to certain features, bounty entries, rewards, or withdrawals.

5. Personal Use

Gloomhunt is provided for personal entertainment and competition.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse any part of Gloomhunt unless we expressly allow it in writing.

You may not use Gloomhunt for unlawful, commercial, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorised purposes.

6. Free Runs

Free runs allow players to practise, build skill, improve stats, and compete on leaderboards.

Free runs do not guarantee any reward.

A free run only counts toward a bounty if the bounty rules expressly allow it and the run was entered through the correct bounty flow.

7. Bounty Challenges

Each bounty displays its own reward, entry cost, win conditions, rules, availability, and any reward slot limits before entry.

You are responsible for reviewing the bounty details before entering.

A bounty reward is only available if your run clears the bounty requirements and complies with the bounty rules.

If a bounty has limited reward slots, rewards are only available while slots remain.

Bounty rewards, entry costs, time windows, availability, and rules may change before you enter. Once you enter a bounty, the bounty terms shown for that entry apply to that run.

8. Entry Credit and Bonus Credit

Some bounties may require entry credit.

Entry credit is used to enter paid bounties. Bonus credit may be issued through promotions, grants, referrals, or other offers.

Bonus credit may be limited, non-transferable, non-withdrawable, or subject to expiry unless we clearly state otherwise.

We may cancel, reverse, expire, or restrict entry credit or bonus credit if it was issued by mistake, obtained improperly, abused, linked to suspicious activity, or used in breach of these Terms.

9. Bounty Forfeits

A bounty run may be forfeited if you break the bounty rules or the run becomes invalid.

This may include leaving the game, switching tabs, closing the app or browser, changing required screen orientation, losing internet connection, quitting the run, using an unsupported device state, interfering with the game session, or any other action listed in the bounty rules.

If a run is forfeited, it will not meet the win conditions for the bounty reward.

10. Result Verification

All bounty results are subject to verification.

We may review gameplay data, run data, survival time, kills, accuracy, hits taken, device/session data, connection state, input data, and other relevant game events to confirm whether a run is valid.

A displayed result is not final until Gloomhunt confirms the run as valid.

We may delay, reject, cancel, or manually review any run that appears suspicious, incomplete, inconsistent, manipulated, affected by technical issues, or in breach of these Terms.

11. Rewards and Payouts

Rewards are only paid when a bounty is cleared and the result is confirmed as valid.

We may require identity, account, age, location, payment, or fraud checks before paying a reward.

Payout timing may depend on verification, payment provider processing, account eligibility, fraud checks, and other operational requirements.

We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment providers, incorrect payment details, network issues, or third-party services.

If you provide incorrect payment details, we may not be able to recover or resend a payout.

12. No Guarantee of Rewards

Gloomhunt is skill-based, but entering a bounty does not guarantee that you will receive a reward.

You should only enter a bounty if you understand the listed reward, entry cost, win conditions, and rules.

13. Leaderboards

Leaderboards are provided for ranking and competition.

We may remove, adjust, reset, or hide leaderboard entries if we believe a score is invalid, suspicious, manipulated, affected by bugs, or in breach of these Terms.

Leaderboard ranking does not guarantee any reward unless a bounty or promotion clearly states otherwise.

14. Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to play fairly.

You must not cheat, use bots, scripts, automation, modified clients, exploits, unofficial tools, or any method that gives an unfair advantage.

You must not manipulate game files, browser storage, network behaviour, device time, submitted data, run results, bounty results, leaderboards, entry credit, bonus credit, rewards, or payouts.

You must not abuse bugs. If you discover a bug, you should report it instead of using it.

You must not harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or target other players or staff.

15. Suspensions and Account Restrictions

We may suspend, restrict, or close your account if we believe you have breached these Terms, abused Gloomhunt, cheated, attempted fraud, manipulated results, created payment risk, or caused harm to Gloomhunt or other players.

During a review or suspension, you may lose access to runs, leaderboards, bounties, rewards, bonus credit, entry credit, or pending payouts.

We may permanently remove invalid runs, reject bounty claims, cancel rewards, or ban accounts where appropriate.

16. Technical Issues and Availability

Gloomhunt is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We try to keep Gloomhunt available and working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free gameplay, or compatibility with every device, browser, or internet connection.

You are responsible for using a stable device, browser, and internet connection before entering a bounty.

We are not responsible for losses caused by your device, browser, internet connection, power failure, third-party services, or unsupported use.

17. Intellectual Property

Gloomhunt, including its name, logo, design, game systems, code, graphics, user interface, text, sounds, data, and other content, is owned by Limecube Studios or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use Gloomhunt for its intended purpose.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, licence, scrape, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Gloomhunt without written permission.

18. User Content and Player Names

You are responsible for any names, messages, profile information, or content you submit to Gloomhunt.

You must not use offensive, abusive, misleading, unlawful, hateful, obscene, impersonating, or infringing names or content.

We may edit, remove, restrict, or rename content or player names that breach these Terms.

19. Privacy and Data

We collect and use account, gameplay, device, payment-related, and verification information to operate Gloomhunt, verify results, prevent fraud, improve the service, process rewards, and enforce these Terms.

For more information about how we use your data, contact support@gloomhunt.com.

20. Third-Party Services

Gloomhunt may rely on third-party services, including hosting providers, analytics services, payment processors, authentication providers, and other technical services.

We are not responsible for failures, delays, errors, or actions of third-party services outside our control.

21. Changes to Gloomhunt

We may update, change, pause, remove, replace, or discontinue any part of Gloomhunt at any time.

This includes game features, bounty challenges, rewards, entry costs, bonus credit, leaderboards, rules, and availability.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gloomhunt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of rewards, service interruption, device issues, connection issues, or third-party failures.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

23. Indemnity

You agree to be responsible for losses, claims, costs, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of Gloomhunt, fraud, cheating, unlawful conduct, or violation of another person’s rights.
